A delicious, vibrant red from Château de Calavon, in the heart of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence AOP. A blend of Cinsault (60%), Grenache Noir (30%) and Syrah (10%), this organic wine reveals all the freshness of its clay-limestone terroir. On tasting, its scarlet red colour heralds a vibrant wine. The nose reveals lovely notes of strawberry, redcurrant and wild berries. On the palate, the attack is supple and fresh, carried by juicy, crisp fruit, without any astringency, leading to a delicious finish. Carefully vinified (cold pre-fermentation maceration, aged in stainless steel vats), it retains all the purity and brilliance of the fruit. Serve slightly chilled (1214°C); it pairs perfectly with grilled meats, Mediterranean vegetables or fresh cheeses
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
