Rosso di Montalcino 2023 is a more accessible version of Brunello, with excellent structure and great drinkability. Made entirely from Sangiovese grapes from the estate's younger vineyards, the Rosso di Montalcino is aged in large casks and barrels before a period of bottle ageing. Barrel ageing, although not mandatory for the production of Rosso di Montalcino, softens the tannins typical of a young Sangiovese and gives this red wine an aromatic complexity and structure that make it a great young Brunello'. A small' wine from a very great estate that does not disappoint!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
