Claudie Jobard's Rully La Chaume Rouge 2022 embodies all the charm of the great reds of the Côte Chalonnaise. Produced from a well-exposed parcel of clay-limestone soil, this Pinot Noir seduces with its aromatic finesse and silky texture. The 2022 vintage is sunny but well-balanced, giving it a fine maturity while retaining its freshness and precision. On the nose, this Rully expresses itself intensely with notes of crisp red fruit (cherry, raspberry, redcurrant), accompanied by subtle floral touches (peony, rose) and a light woodiness with hints of sweet spices. The palate is supple, juicy and elegantly structured. The tannins are fine, perfectly integrated, carried by a fine acidity that stretches out the finish. Ageing in oak barrels (some of which are new) adds extra complexity without ever masking the fruit. A gem to be discovered!

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
