Official US label evidence
Historical Texas label approval
3 official label approvals have the same normalised product name as this BottlePicker record. These approvals pre-date September 2021 and help check identity, stated ABV and the responsible trade name; they do not prove that the current bottle has the same formula, remains registered or is available in Texas.

Named after Peter Barlow, who reunited Rustenberg in 1941 and invested in its potential to produce world-class wines. This Cabernet Sauvignon combines power, elegance, and classic Stellenbosch structure.
Vineyard & Terroir
Grapes benefit from the cool, wet winter and warm ripening summer of Stellenbosch, with careful canopy management ensuring optimal ripening and balanced acidity.
Winemaking
Hand-picked grapes are crushed and de-stemmed. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks with regular pump-overs and an extended maceration of up to two weeks. Post-fermentation, the wine is matured for 20 months in oak barriques (61% new French oak, 39% second- and third-fill).
Tasting Notes
Rich aromas of red and black fruits, cedar, and clove. The palate displays lively acidity, velvety tannins, and excellent oak integration, culminating in a long, harmonious finish.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
