Sourced only from the Barossa Valley, RWT is aged exclusively in French oak, giving it two major points of difference from the rest of the Penfolds range. It offers layers of berry-like fruit, refined hints of vanilla and spice, as well as more exotic notes of star anise and cocoa powder. Full-bodied and sumptuous, without being unstructured, with a long, complex finish and the concentration to age for two decades or more.
