Source-supplied bottle description

Château des Bachelards' 2022 Saint-Amour is sourced from plots situated midway up the hillside, ideally facing due south, on soil composed of black granite mixed with loess and clay. This combination gives the wine a lovely tannic density and remarkable structure, combining power and elegance even in its youth whilst offering genuine ageing potential. Its luminous garnet colour precedes a delicate, floral and refined nose, where violet and citrus notes intertwine. On the palate, it is distinguished by a sumptuous and silky attack, underpinned by elegant tension and remarkable length. The finish, with its dazzling purity and freshness, leaves an impression of grace and subtlety that fully illustrates the character of this exceptional terroir.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
