Meet the Producer
An outstanding Tuscan estate, Agricola San Felice has been a pioneer of quality and innovation in Chianti Classico for over 40 years.
Production
Grapes are sourced from San Felice's Castelnuovo Berardenga and Siena properties at 350–400m altitude. Fermentation lasts 8–10 days on the skins, followed by malolactic fermentation in steel. The wine is matured for 10–12 months in large Slavonian oak botti.
Tasting Notes
Generous, lifted, and spicy on the nose, with cranberry fruit and a hint of cedar. The palate offers fresh red cherry and bramble flavours with fine, polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, supple finish. Food match Pairs beautifully with antipasti, or tortelloni with pecorino cheese. Grape Sangiovese 80%, Colorino 10%, Pugnitello 10%
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
