In itself, this motto is a coat of arms. It proudly displays the almost monarchical status of this vintage. The 129 hectares, 84 of which are vineyards, of Château Gruaud-Larose stretch south of Saint-Julien, forming a single, solid and undulating block. As the second wine of Château Gruaud Larose, Sarget de Gruaud Larose benefits from the same techniques as its elder. The wine is utterly delicious and more readily approachable than its elder. This round and charming 2021 vintage, with its aromatic finish, will only improve with age. A real bargain in Saint-Julien.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
