A plush and approachable Californian Cabernet, full of ripe blackcurrant and wild berry fruit, with a touch of sweet oak and soft, juicy tannins.
Meet the Producer
Boutinot has been working with growers across California for decades, refining its portfolio vintage by vintage to deliver wines that balance ripe fruit, structure, and accessibility.
Production
Sourced from vineyards in Northern California’s Central Valley, around Lodi and Manteca, where the San Joaquin and Sacramento river deltas provide cooling breezes that preserve freshness in the fruit. Cabernet blocks are vinified separately and blended for balance, with 6 months ageing in oak to provide a broad frame and subtle chocolate notes.
Tasting Notes
Ripe blackcurrant, wild berries, and sweet vanilla oak on the nose. The palate is rich with cassis and black cherry, soft, juicy tannins, and a long, plump finish. American oak adds gentle chocolate edges. Food match Perfect with a cheeseburger or any hearty, casual fare. Grape Cabernet Sauvignon 100%
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
