Nestled in the shadow of the Andes in Chile’s Curicó region, Sierra Grande Sauvignon Blanc captures the vibrant freshness of the Central Valley while showcasing the elegance imparted by its mountain terroir. The combination of high-altitude vineyards, glacial streams, and cool evening temperatures allows the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving crisp acidity and pure varietal expression. Carefully blended with fruit from slightly warmer Cachapoal vineyards, this wine achieves a harmonious balance of lively aromatics, bright citrus flavours, and a racy, refreshing finish, making it a vibrant and approachable expression of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc.
Meet the Producer
Our winemaking team has been building long-standing relationships across Chile over the past two decades, sourcing premium fruit to create wines that reflect the country’s diverse terroirs.
Production
We work with two families in two different locations for a blend with huge appeal. The Martin Family vineyards, nestled into the Andes at 500 metres above sea level, benefit from steep slopes, old vines, and minimal intervention. Grapes are hand-harvested, crushed, and fermented at cool temperatures to preserve freshness and fruit aromas. Sauvignon Blanc from the German Family in Cachapoal provides aromatic intensity and additional body. The final blend is settled in tank for a short period before being bottled early to retain youthful vibrancy.
Tasting Notes
Fresh and crisp, with lime zest, lemon, and kiwi fruit flavours. Vibrant acidity leads to a racy, refreshing finish reminiscent of cool glacial streams. Food match Pairs beautifully with light seafood dishes, fresh salads, or as a vibrant aperitif. Grape Sauvignon Blanc 100%
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
