Taylor’s 10 Year Old Tawny Port is a refined expression of the aged tawny style, crafted from a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cão, and Tinta Amarela. The wine is matured in seasoned 630-litre oak casks for an extended period, allowing it to develop a rich amber colour, mellow complexity, and a smooth, luscious palate.

Meet the Producer

Taylor’s, one of the oldest Port houses, has perfected the art of oak-aged Ports. Its cellars, or “lodges,” in Oporto provide cool, tranquil conditions that enable slow, even maturation, resulting in the characteristic elegance and depth of Taylor’s Tawny Ports.

Production

The 10 Year Old is blended from Taylor’s extensive reserves of aged cask Ports. Each component is carefully selected for balance and complexity before being married and further matured to achieve a harmonious, polished finish.

Tasting Notes

Amber in colour with a subtle golden hue, the nose shows aromas of mature red fruits intertwined with delicate wood and nutty nuances. On the palate, the wine is mellow, elegant, and full-bodied, with a smooth texture and lingering finish, highlighting the sophisticated character of long-aged Tawny Port. Food match Perfect served chilled as an aperitif, or paired with hard, nutty cheeses, fruit tarts, apple pie, tarte tatin, baked figs, caramel desserts, or strawberries with a hint of pepper. Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
