Ulisse Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOP is a vibrant and approachable red, showcasing the expressive character of the Montepulciano grape. It delivers a balance of fruit intensity, structure, and freshness, making it versatile at the table.
Winemaking
The grapes undergo fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks for 15–20 days at temperatures between 20° and 25°C. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its bright fruit flavours and natural freshness.
Tasting Notes
The wine has a ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The bouquet is intense, persistent, and aromatic, revealing fruity and floral notes with hints of cherry, blackberry, and ripe red fruits. On the palate, it is well-bodied with firm, integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and a harmonious finish.
Food Pairing
Pairs beautifully with richly flavoured first courses, roast meats, mature cheeses, and even dark chocolate for a decadent touch. Serving Best served at 16–18°C to enjoy its aromatic and structural qualities fully. Grape Montepulciano 100%
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
