The Hedonist Shiraz Organic is a richly textured and expressive Shiraz from McLaren Vale, South Australia. Deep red with purple hues, it offers aromas of macadamia, poached rhubarb, liquorice, and a hint of clove. The palate is generous and complex, with fine, powdery tannins supporting a rush of ripe fruit and a structured, elegant mid-palate.

Hedonist Wines is a boutique winery in McLaren Vale, committed to organic and biodynamic practices across their estate and sourced vineyards. The winery focuses on crafting wines that reflect the diverse soils and microclimates of the district, emphasizing balance, purity, and expression of terroir.
Production
Grapes are harvested and destemmed in stages from late February to mid-April. Fermentation occurs in open-top fermenters, with a portion of whole berries and a small selection of whole-bunch fruit. Malolactic fermentation and maturation take place over 15 months in a combination of French oak foudres and hogsheads of varying ages. The wine is unfined and unfiltered prior to bottling.
