The 2023 vintage bursts with notes of boysenberry, cocoa nib, and dark chocolate, complemented by a touch of sea salt and greeted by rich tannins on the front of the palate. A long finish of dark fruit and warm spices round out this complex and vibrant Pinot. The nose of this Pinot is lifted by aromas of fresh berries, Bing cherries, pithy orange peel, and black tea. The palate brings neatly balanced tannin and acid, with ripe cherry-berry fruit flavors and savory spice melange ebbing and flowing through the finale. Editors' Choice Nearly seamless in the glass, the 2023 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard is one of the most elegant wines in this range from Three Sticks. Silky, nuanced tannins and lifted aromatics are immediately alluring. Blood orange, mint, cinnamon and rose petal grace the palate, punctuated by brisk, salivating acids that come alive on the finish. This is such a gorgeous, vivid wine. If there's a superstar site in Petaluma Gap, it's Gap's Crown Vineyard, where persistent winds and fog ensure a long hangtime. The results show in this exciting whole-cluster red aged 15 months in (45% new) French oak. A pinch of earthiness lightly touches cinnamon-dusted cherries as the liquid's delicacy graces the palate like a lace veil. Pomegranate is spiced with clove and bright acidity imparts freshness, satisfying through the juicy, dark-fruited finish.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
