Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. No need to decant but best to open it half an hour before service. Tinazzi is a winery with a long family tradition. Even their surname is linked to the production of wine. In fact, in the ancient Veronese tradition, the "tinazzi" were the containers where the grapes were left to ferment to make wine. In the 60s the cellars were located only in Veneto on the shores of Lake Garda, but now the company has expanded with offices in Puglia and Tuscany, becoming one of the most prestigious and important wineries in Italy. The Duca delle Corone is a wine obtained from 100% Aglianico grapes obtained from selected vineyards in Puglia. The harvest takes place in the second half of September to ensure the perfect ripening of this native vine, considered the Barolo of the South. Fermentation with controlled temperature maceration lasts about 10 days and the wine is finally aged in steel to preserve the freshness of the aromas. It is a wine with an intense color with garnet red tones, and a seductive aromatic profile with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and wild berries. On the palate, the wine is very balanced with a good body and a persistent and pleasant finish. Excellent in combination with savory first courses such as Bolognese lasagna, with lamb and grilled red meats, or with medium-aged cheeses.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
