What the official register confirms about Ribera del Duero

BottlePicker found an exact region-name match in an official wine or spirits register. This establishes useful regional context; it does not by itself prove that this particular bottle is entitled to the designation. Check the producer label and specification for that claim.

' Tinto Pesquera is the fulfillment of a lifetime dream in Ribera del Duero for the Familia Fernández Rivera. In a tribute to Pesquera de Duero, the hometown of Alejandro Fernández and Esperanza Rivera, founders of Familia Fernández Rivera, and with a stone winepress from the 16th century, Tinto Pesquera started to produce its first wines in 1975 in order to showcase the value of the terroir of the Ribera del Duero through pioneering production processes of Tempranillo grapes. Thanks to its tireless work, Tinto Pesquera was one of the wineries behind the rise and renown of Ribera del Duero and one of the driving forces behind it being granted its Denominacion de Origen status. Familia Fernández Rivera are also the makers of Condado de Haza, El Vinculo and Dehesa La Granja. '

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
