Noble Taminga is a late-picked botrytis-style sweet wine from the Murray Darling region of Australia, crafted from the unique Taminga grape. The vineyard’s sandy-loam soils and warm climate favour full ripening while retaining natural acidity. Grapes are harvested late to encourage botrytis development, providing concentrated, honeyed flavours and a luscious texture. Fermentation is carefully halted to preserve natural sweetness, producing a vibrant and expressive wine with excellent balance and a long, lingering finish.

Meet the Producer

Trentham Estate is a boutique Australian winery dedicated to producing expressive, site-specific wines. Winemaker Anthony Murphy focuses on careful vineyard management and gentle handling in the winery to highlight the purity and intensity of the fruit.

Production

Grapes are hand-picked and destemmed, then gently pressed. The thick, syrupy juice is cold-settled to remove solids before fermentation with neutral yeast, allowing the varietal character to shine. Fermentation is halted early to retain sweetness, and the wine is stabilised and held at low temperature until bottling.

Tasting Notes

Light yellow-gold in colour, with aromas of citrus blossom and honey. The palate is lusciously sweet, revealing apricot, orange peel, and toffee, balanced by bright, refreshing acidity that keeps the wine elegant and harmonious. Food match Pairs beautifully with creamy desserts, fruit tarts, or blue cheeses, or served on its own as a decadent treat. Grape Taminga 100%

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
