Source-supplied bottle description

Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.

Uggiano Brunello di Montalcino is a robust and richly flavoured Tuscan red, offering exceptional value for a Brunello. Crafted by Azienda Uggiano, this muscular yet balanced wine reflects the estate’s commitment to traditional winemaking and expressive Sangiovese.

Tasting Notes

The nose is warm and ripe, with aromas of black fruits and savoury, meaty undertones. On the palate, concentrated plum fruit is layered with hints of toasty oak. A firm structure is lifted by vibrant acidity, delivering a chalky, sustained finish with impressive balance and depth.

Vineyard & Production

Produced from 100% Sangiovese, grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using selected yeasts. The must is pumped over twice daily to extract colour and tannin. After 18–22 days, the wine is transferred to large Slavonian oak casks for 36 months of maturation, followed by further ageing in bottle prior to release.

Food Pairing

A natural partner for grilled meats, especially wild boar or pheasant. Also pairs beautifully with Tuscan Pecorino cheese and hearty pasta dishes. Why Choose This Wine? Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
