Boasting the classic characteristics of Prosecco, the DOCG Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry Senior contains 14g/l of residual sugar, making it a fairly sweet sparkling wine. Striking a balance between the driest and sweetest wines in Bortolomiol's Traditional range, it is the quintessential classic Prosecco and one of Italy's most popular sparkling wines. Produced in the small hilly area of Cartizze, home to the appellation's finest vineyards, Senior 2023 is a 100% Glera made using the Charmat method of secondary fermentation in closed tanks. On the nose, it offers a delicate aroma of pear and yellow flowers, with subtle hints of citrus and aromatic herbs. Supple and velvety on the palate, it is rich in fruity flavours and features fine, well-integrated bubbles. Enjoyable on any occasion, it is particularly well-suited to grilled fish, sautéed vegetables and a fresh fruit salad.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
