Elegant, clean aromas of preserved fruit fill the nose. This Riserva is full in body with extremely silky tannins. Best decanted before serving, La Volta pairs well with hearty dishes, including braised and stewed red meats. Also excellent with rich, chocolaty desserts. Savory, complex and deep nose showing blood oranges, iron, rich cranberries and some spices. This is quite a tannic, muscular Barolo, showing a very tight fist of tannins and concentrated, savory fruit. Broad, full-bodied and quite long and powerful. This Barolo bursts with ripe cherry and plum aromas, steeped in enticing sweet spices, tea leaves and subtle underbrush. The firm structure and well-defined tannins support vibrant raspberry and blackberry flavors, creating a lush, generous.
