This Vina Cobos 100% Chardonnay comes from vineyards in Tupungato and Tunayán, Valle de Uco, Mendoza, planted at elevations between 3,330 and 3,845 feet above sea level. The semi-desert climate and cool nights promote even ripening, while heterogeneous soils of sand and rocky patches on steep slopes ensure excellent drainage and minerality.
Winemaking
Following traditional white wine fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, a portion of the wine is aged for 12 months in new French oak, while the remainder remains in steel. Around 15% of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation. Bottled unfined. Tasting Note The wine displays an intense yellow colour with green highlights. Aromas of white flowers, green apple, pear, and subtle white chocolate are complemented by a structured, mineral-driven palate that culminates in a long, elegant finish. Food Matching Pairs perfectly with roasted or marinated grilled chicken and vegetables, as well as pasta in creamy sauces. Technical Details Varieties: Chardonnay 100% Oak Ageing: 12 Months, French oak, 100% oaked, 26% new oak
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
