Source-supplied bottle description
Retained as supporting identification copy; the structured facts and evidence links above are kept separate.
A renowned winemaker of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Nicolas Souchon has brought out Mas des Volques, with the support and sound advice of Philippe Cambie, one of the most renowned wine consultants of the Rhône Valley (named oenologist of the year in 2010 by Robert Parker). Volcae has all the qualities of a great red wine. Grown on very old vines, it reveals notes of tobacco, pepper, plum jam and blueberry, and demonstrates lovely power and a great deal of elegance. A piece of advice: act fast before this wine becomes a rarity!!!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
