This Volnay is from the village of the same name, located to the south of Beaune and next to Pommard. The En Chevret climat is right next to the parcel known as Les Caillerets on the border with the village of Meursault. This unique vineyard's eastern exposure and specific terroir give us an elegance wine every vintage. The Maison Latour expertise gives this wine 10 to 12 months' ageing in 30% new oak barrels to avoid masking the subtlety of this nectar with too much oakiness. Who wouldn't fall under the spell of this Volnay Premier Cru with such beautiful roundness, silky tannins and such a fresh captivating finish!
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
