Graham's Late Bottled Vintage Port is one of the benchmark expressions of LBV — rich, concentrated, and beautifully structured, crafted from grapes sourced from four of Graham's premier Douro Valley quintas: Quinta dos Malvedos, Quinta do Tua, Quinta da Vila Velha, and Quinta do Vale de Malhadas. Matured for five years in seasoned oak casks at Graham's historic 1890 lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia, this is a Port of exceptional depth, vibrancy, and finesse.

Why You'll Love It

Graham's was founded in 1820 and has remained under the stewardship of the Symington family for generations — one of the Douro's most respected and experienced Port houses. Their LBV consistently over-delivers: the extended oak maturation gives it the structure and complexity of a Vintage Port, while the careful bottling preserves the freshness and fruit vibrancy that makes it so immediately enjoyable. Once opened, it will keep its quality for up to six weeks.

Vineyard & Production

Grapes are hand-picked at optimal ripeness from four premier quintas across the Douro Valley and fermented in small batches. The wine is then matured for five years in seasoned oak casks at Graham's historic lodge in Vila Nova de Gaia, building structure and depth while preserving the characteristic vibrancy of Graham's house style, before being bottled ready for drinking.

Tasting Notes

Aromatic notes of honeysuckle and mint on the nose, complemented by subtle tropical fruit undertones. The palate is rich and layered — ripe black fruits and kirsch, supported by fine-grained tannins and lively acidity, leading to a long, harmonious finish.

Perfect Pairings

Best enjoyed slightly chilled. A classic match for dark chocolate desserts, semi-cured cheeses such as Manchego, and mature Cheddar. Also excellent with sticky toffee pudding, walnut cake, or a simple cheese board after dinner.

The Blend

Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Sousaõ, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca — Douro DOC, Portugal. 5 years oak maturation. 75cl bottle.

Evidence boundary

This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
