Warrior Reserve Port is the oldest continuously shipped mark of Port in the world, with origins dating back to the 1750s. Traditionally crafted from Warre’s finest quintas in the Pinhão and Rio Torto valleys, it is a full-bodied, rich, and elegantly balanced Port that showcases the classic style for which Warre is renowned. Producer Charles Symington, Warre’s head winemaker, carefully selects particularly rich and fruity vats from the finest Reserve Port lots. These are matured in oak casks at the lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia, producing a wine of exceptional depth and complexity.
Tasting Notes
Dark red in colour, Warrior offers an enticing bouquet of ripe plums, cherries, and subtle spice. The palate is complex and full-bodied, with a smooth, well-structured texture and a long, lingering finish that highlights its refined sweetness.
Food Pairing
& Serving Warrior Reserve Port is ideal as an after-dinner indulgence. Enjoy with dark chocolate or rich chocolate desserts, nuts, and mature cheeses. While traditionally served at room temperature, it can also be lightly chilled during warmer weather for a refreshing twist.
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
