Coterie by Wildeberg is the third expression in the Wildeberg range, born from the finest vineyard sites across Franschhoek and the WO Coastal Region. Where the eyes of each harvest are selected for the Wildeberg and Terroir Series releases, it is the remaining expression of those same sites that forms the Coterie cuvees. The result is a wine that speaks honestly of place.
Why You'll Love It
This is Red Wine at its most expressive. Coterie by Wildeberg is crafted with the same rigour and vineyard philosophy as the flagship range, yet offers a more accessible entry point into the Wildeberg story.
The Blend
of Grenache and Syrah is fermented whole bunch with no crush, allowing a slow, gentle extraction that prioritises origin over winery intervention. The result is a wine of real character, fragrance and drinkability. Vineyard and Production. All fruit is hand-harvested from selected sites across Franschhoek and Paarl . Both cultivars are fermented whole bunch with some whole berry fruit and no crush, relying on a daily pump over during natural fermentation. The components are racked to French and Austrian oak, new and old, for eight months before the blend is decided. The finished blend is then allowed to marry for a further six weeks before coarse filtration and bottling on the farm.

Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
