Boccantino Primitivo Susumaniello is a vibrant, full-bodied red wine from the sun-soaked vineyards of Salento in Puglia , southern Italy . A blend of 70% Primitivo and 30% Susumaniello, it brings together two of the region's most characterful indigenous varieties to create a wine of real warmth, depth and personality. Vineyard and Production Grapes are sourced from sun-drenched vineyards in Salento, where the Mediterranean climate and fertile soils create optimal conditions for producing ripe, aromatic fruit. After harvest, fermentation takes place with careful temperature control to preserve fruit intensity. Part of the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness and purity, while another portion matures in large oak barrels to add complexity, depth and subtle spice. A final three months of bottle ageing brings everything together before release. Tasting Notes Deep ruby in colour with pronounced aromas of prunes, blackberry and black pepper. The palate is full-bodied, warm and expressive, with ripe dark fruit flavours complemented by gentle oak nuances.
