The aroma opens with deep peat smoke, sea spray and charred driftwood, followed by notes of dark chocolate, treacle and warm spice from the sherry casks. On the palate it is full‑bodied and powerful, combining rich peat with flavours of black pepper, roasted coffee, dried fruit and a touch of salted caramel. Layers of oak and earthy minerality build as it develops, giving the whisky a sense of depth and structure.
