Casas del Bosque Reserva Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant and expressive white wine from Casablanca, Chile. Aromas of grapefruit, guava, and boxwood are complemented by floral and subtle pyrazine notes. Meet the producer Casas del Bosque is a pioneering Chilean winery in the Casablanca Valley, recognized for producing cool-climate wines of precision and elegance. The estate combines modern winemaking techniques with careful vineyard management to express the unique terroir of the region. Production Grapes are machine harvested, destemmed, and subjected to a short maceration in a pneumatic press. Only the free-run juice (about 60% of the yield) is used. The must is clarified by static decanting before fermentation with selected yeasts at 14–18°C. After fermentation, the wine rests on its lees for several weeks before blending, enhancing texture and complexity. Tasting notes Bright and aromatic, with notes of grapefruit, guava, and boxwood, balanced by floral and subtle pyrazine hints. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with vibrant acidity and a clean, long finish.
