Louis Jadot Ladoix Le Clou d'Orge is a refined village-level Chardonnay from the northern edge of the Côte de Beaune, crafted by Famille Gagey of Maison Louis Jadot. The vineyard lies just north-east of Aloxe-Corton at the foot of the famed Corton hill, where gentle slopes, altitudes between 220 and 360 metres, and east to south-east exposure create ideal conditions for producing elegant, mineral-driven white Burgundy. Hand-harvested grapes are fermented in oak barrels from CADUS cooperage (one-third new) and matured for approximately 15 months on fine lees, gaining exceptional texture and complexity.
