Anselmo Mendes Contacto Alvarinho is one of Portugal's most expressive expressions of the Alvarinho grape, grown in the Monção and Melgaço sub-region of the Vinho Verde DOC. Widely regarded as the master of Alvarinho, Anselmo Mendes selects fruit from granite-soiled vineyards close to the river, where the mountain-sheltered microclimate delivers the perfect balance of freshness and ripeness.
