Make no mistake – this is world-class. Robert Parker once described the sweet wines of Château Tirecul as among the most notable sweet wines from anywhere in the world. Les Pins is the estate’s organic entry-level cuvée, yet it showcases the same finesse, balance, and pedigree that make Tirecul one of Monbazillac’s finest producers.
Meet the Producer
Château Tirecul La Gravière has earned a reputation for producing extraordinary botrytised wines from Monbazillac in South West France. With meticulous organic viticulture and a focus on purity, freshness, and balance, their wines consistently stand shoulder to shoulder with the greatest sweet wines of Bordeaux and beyond.
Production
While this wine could qualify as Sélection de Grains Nobles , it is not always aged for the full 18 months required before release. With around 140g/l residual sugar, it achieves richness without heaviness, thanks to Tirecul’s hallmark acidity which keeps the palate fresh, lifted, and endlessly drinkable.
Tasting Notes
A laid-back tropical style, with ripe pineapple and exotic fruit flavours balanced by zesty, mouth-watering acidity. Sweet, vibrant, and utterly moreish. Food match Perfect with delicate desserts – think lemon posset or traditional syllabub – or simply enjoyed on its own as a luxurious treat. Grape Semillon 60%, Muscadelle 40%
Evidence boundary
This page combines the recorded bottle identity with linked source records. An exact region-name match supplies regional context but does not prove that this bottle carries the protected designation. A vineyard is only shown as bottle-level evidence when a wine-to-vineyard link exists. BottlePicker does not infer a vineyard, soil or site climate from a retailer title.
